Lockerbrook Farm Outdoor Centre make every endeavour for provision of wheelchair access with
ramps in common areas like the courtyard, toilets, showers and dormitories. For full details please download our ‘Access statement’, which can be found on the booking page.

The Centre can be found just over a mile up a track from the A57 Snake Pass between Sheffield and Manchester.
It is signposted ‘Lockerbrook Farm Centre’.

The track is accessed via Rowlee Farm from the only crossroads on the A57 which is also signposted ‘Lockerbrook Farm Centre’. Turn right from Sheffield and left from Manchester. Drive up through Rowlee Farm, past the farmhouse on your left and the barn on your right. Continue through the first of two wooden gates (always to be shut after you pass through please) which says ‘Woodcraft Folk Lockerbrook Farm 1 mile’ and follow the track until you reach us.

Please be aware that the track has some steep sections, sharp corners and  a rough track surface which can be affected sometimes by adverse weather conditions.  Please note normal cars and normal sized minibuses (not low-floor long minibuses) are able to access the centre with very little difficulty and have been doing so for 50 years.  If you have any concerns with regards to access do get in touch and please ensure your group is aware of the access track when arranging your visit.
