Our charges depend on quite a few variations such as catering or self catering, activity provision, kit hire and additional charges for requesting cleaning after hire or a washing up service. These charges can be discussed on application.
Accommodation charges 2017
Lockerbrook Farm Outdoor Centre hire charges are based on a minimum occupancy of 28 people.
Non-Woodcraft Folk groups: £16.50 per person per night on a self-catering basis. Our minimum charge is therefore £462.00 per night (28 x £16.50). For each additional person over 28 to our maximum occupancy of 38, we charge an additional £16.50 per night.
WINTER SPECIAL OFFER For 2017 – 2018. Book a weekday visit (Monday – Friday or part of the week) and pay £12.50 per person instead of £16.50 during November to April inclusive, a saving of 24% on accommodation charges.
Woodcraft Folk groups (where all those attending are current full members of the Woodcraft Folk): £12.50 per person per night on a self-catering basis. Our minimum charge is therefore £350.00 per night (28 x £12.50). For each additional person over 28 to our maximum occupancy of 38, we charge an additional £12.00 per night.
We ask for:
- 30% of the full cost of the visit to be paid on booking as a non-returnable deposit
- the interim balance for 28 people to be paid at least 2 weeks before the visit
- prompt payment of a final invoice covering charges for occupancy over 28, which will be sent out after the visit
Weekend bookings normally start at 7pm Friday and end at 2pm Sunday.
Weekday bookings normally start at 11am on the arrival day and end at 11am on the departure day.
We try to be flexible so do get in touch if you wish to discuss an earlier arrival time. A later departure time is not always possible as time is needed to clean and prepare the centre for the next group.
Please be aware that due to the wonderfully remote, peaceful and wild location we are able to offer we can be negatively affected by ice and/or snow at certain times of the year. We will advise you about the safety of travelling to Lockerbrook Outdoor Centre at these times. We operate a shared snow risk. This means that if there is snow at Lockerbrook that stops you accessing the Centre we will refund all payments. If, however, the Centre is accessible but you are unable to reach the Centre due to adverse weather at your home address or on the journey full payment is required and no refund is available.
Please see our ‘Booking Terms and Conditions’ on the Booking Documentation page for further confirmation of our full terms.
