Lockerbrook Farm Outdoor Centre, built in 1756, provides a unique location for schools, groups, companies and individuals to experience first-hand the richness and diversity of the national park landscape.
Situated in glorious isolation high above Ladybower Reservoir, with stunning views down and across the valley, it provides versatile and flexible accommodation to meet all your group’s needs. With purpose-built catering, sleeping, studying and recreational spaces it offers a unique base for a wide range of activities. Whether you are seeking a quiet space to retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, or an opportunity to participate in adventurous activities, Lockerbrook Farm Outdoor Centre is the perfect venue.
Lockerbrooks’ primary purpose is to provide residential and outdoor education experiences for young people. The Centre is a converted hill farm and comprises of two converted barns and the farmhouse, which surround an enclosed courtyard.

Lockerbrook Farm Outdoor Centre is fully licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority to provides an adventurous environment for people to enjoy a wide range of self-led and instructor-led outdoor activities. Please see our Activities page for more information.
Lockerbrook Farm Outdoor Centre is owned and operated by The Woodcraft Folk, a registered charity in England & Wales (1148195) and in Scotland (SC039791). Registered in England & Wales Company No. 8133727.
The Woodcraft Folk is a part of international movements (IFM-SEI) for children and young people using education to deliver social change, it is open to everyone from birth to adult. It offers a place where children can grow in confidence, learn about the world and start to understand how to value our planet and each other.
